About Dr. Uzair Amjad
Dr. Uzair Amjad earned bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from The City College of New York, where he graduated cum laude. After graduating, he worked as private STEM tutor in Long Island, New York, prior to setting his sights on medicine.
He then earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. While at Scholl College, Dr. Amjad received the Dr. Scholl Foundation Scholarship Award for his outstanding academic and personal achievements during his collegiate studies.
Dr. Amjad was accepted to the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital Foot and Ankle Surgery Residency program and ultimately served as chief resident during his training. He has completed comprehensive training, specializing in diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma and wound care.
While at in residency Dr. Amjad was involved in multiple research project which were present at both the national American Podiatric Medical Association conference and the national American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons conference.

When Dr. Amjad is not in the office or operating room, he maintains a very diverse lifestyle. He loves grilling, cooking, discussing sneakers and sports. Most of all he loves spending time with his family and friends. These interests help keep him in good health and also provide a positive work life balance.
