About Tehlia Williams
Tehlia Williams is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC) with a strong background in acute, critical, and long-term care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in 2018 and began her nursing career in progressive care and intensive care settings, where she developed extensive experience managing medically complex patients. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in 2024.
Tehlia provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric populations, with clinical interests in chronic disease management, cardiovascular health, multimorbidity, patient education, and care coordination. She is experienced in identifying early clinical changes and takes a proactive approach to preventing decompensation and reducing hospital readmissions. Known for her compassionate, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care that empowers patients to better understand and engage in their treatment plans.
Outside of work, Tehlia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her energetic miniature cream dachshund. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places, with favorite destinations including Japan and India.
