About Sharla Anderson

Sharla is a Waycross native who has made healthcare her passion. She earned her Registered Nursing degree from South Georgia State College in 2007, and later went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, and an MBA in Healthcare Leadership. She furthered her clinical expertise by earning a post-Master’s Certificate as an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Throughout her career, Sharla has provided care across a variety of settings, including hospitalized patients, mental health, and long-term care. She specializes in adult health and geriatric health and wellness, and she is committed to a lifetime of learning, always striving to partner with her patients to help them achieve maximum wellness.

Outside of work, Sharla enjoys spending quality time with family, lifting weights, hiking, and traveling.
