Nurse Practitioner

Shanea Nesbit, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of advanced practice and bedside nursing experience caring for medically complex and high-risk patient populations. Her clinical expertise includes critical care, trauma, and neuro-intensive care, where she has managed acute and chronic conditions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Shanea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and began her career working in some of the Southeast’s most demanding critical care environments. In addition to her acute care background, she has experience in preventive and metabolic medicine, where she developed individualized treatment plans, interpreted complex diagnostic data, and helped patients improve long-term health outcomes through education and holistic support.

Her diverse clinical experience across multiple care settings aligns with a strong commitment to prevention, limb preservation, and improving quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care. Shanea is recognized for her clinical judgment, calm leadership in high-pressure environments, and dedication to building meaningful patient relationships grounded in trust and education.

Beyond her clinical practice, Shanea is actively involved in community outreach and faith-centered mentorship initiatives that support health, personal growth, and overall well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring wellness-focused living, and pursuing creative art and media projects.
