With more than 15 years of cardiology and palliative care experience, Nydia serves the Orlando area as a dual-certified Acute Care and Palliative Nurse Practitioner. A 2014 graduate of the University of Maryland, she has built her practice on a foundation of deep compassion and active listening. As a bilingual provider fluent in both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to breaking down communication barriers and ensuring every patient feels fully understood.

Nydia believes that the best healthcare happens when patients are empowered. She acts as a dedicated educator, translating complex medical situations into clear, actionable information so that families can make well-informed decisions with confidence. Her holistic philosophy ensures that a patient’s cultural values and personal priorities are always the guiding force. Whether managing a critical cardiac event or providing palliative support, Nydia is committed to being a steady, compassionate advocate for every patient’s unique journey.

Outside of her clinical practice, Nydia is a proud mother of four, and her primary joy is spending quality time with her family. She and her husband share a passion for outdoor exploring and making the most of the Florida lifestyle. On their weekends, you can often find them discovering the beauty of local botanical gardens, visiting the state’s iconic freshwater springs, or planning their next travel adventure together.
