About Kathy McCarthy
Kathy, MSN, APRN, ANP-C is an experienced Adult Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in critical care and adult medicine. She spent more than 15 years in cardiothoracic recovery as a Registered Nurse before earning her Master of Science in Nursing and advancing her career as a Nurse Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Kathy has worked in neurology, hospital medicine, home-based care, and long-term care settings, often serving as an independent on-site provider while collaborating closely with physician colleagues. Her expertise focuses on adult and geriatric care, with a passion for patient education, early detection of health concerns, and preventing unnecessary hospitalizations. She is dedicated to promoting quality of life and helping patients successfully navigate the healthcare system.
In her role with Upperline Plus, Kathy connects with patients during podiatry visits to provide education and introduce supportive resources that enhance their overall care.
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys walking with her husband of 36 years, spending time with her granddaughter, and attending auctions.
