About Jonathan Grady
Jonathan Grady, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, is a nurse practitioner specializing in wound care, geriatrics, and primary care. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jon began his healthcare career as a phlebotomist and activities director in assisted living before earning his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, magna cum laude, from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts.
After relocating to Florida, Jon began his nursing career in the operating room at Oak Hill Hospital, where he received the hospital’s “Up and Coming Star Award.” He went on to Bayfront Hospital, gaining experience in orthopedic, endoscopy, women’s health, and urology procedures. His passion for patient care later led him into home health, where he advanced from field RN to Director of Clinical Training and Quality Assurance. He went on to serve as Director of Clinical Education, and later Director of Nursing, for a continuing care retirement community in Southwest Florida.
Recognizing his true passion for bedside care, Jon pursued a career as a nurse practitioner specializing in adult-gerontology, graduating with honors from South University in Savannah, Georgia, in November 2024.
In his personal time, Jon has five dogs, two of which are trained therapy dogs that visit community assisted living facilities. He also enjoys scuba diving and horseback riding.
