Gregory Sutton, DPM
Dr. Gregory Sutton, DPM is a surgical podiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for patients of all ages. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with expertise in biomechanics, ankle arthroscopy, and limb salvage.
A Georgia native, Dr. Sutton earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia before completing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a three-year surgical residency at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, where he trained in wound care, limb preservation, sports injuries, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. His residency experience also included caring for patients at Baptist Medical Center, Elmore Community Hospital, and Maxwell Air Force Base—broadening his clinical perspective and reinforcing his patient-first philosophy. In 2018, Dr. Sutton returned home to Georgia, operating Lanier Foot and Ankle in Gainesville for several years prior to joining Upperline Health in 2025.
In addition to his clinical work, he has been actively involved in limb preservation efforts and has shared his expertise at both local and national medical conferences. Passionate about education and outreach, Dr. Sutton also works with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and STEM programs to inspire and mentor the next generation.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sutton enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking. He especially values time spent with his wife and their dog, Zoey.
