Eugene Cheng, DPM

Dr. Eugene Cheng is a fellowship-trained and board-qualified podiatrist practicing in Orange, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana, CA. He is a medical doctor specializing in the treatment of ailments of the foot and ankle. The foot is an underrated aspect of the body that supports the rest of our body throughout our lives and is necessary for overall well-being.

As a podiatrist, Dr. Cheng diagnoses and treates acute and chronic conditions of the foot and ankle both conservatively and surgically. His scope of practice includes but is not limited to: diabetic foot care, wound care, ingrowing nails, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, soft tissue lesions, flatfoot and cavus (high arched) foot reconstruction, plantar fasciitis, turf toes, Achilles tendonitis, tendon and ligament injuries, and fractures of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Cheng obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology from University of Washington, Seattle, and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State Univerity College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a 4 year Podiatric Surgical Residency at the University of Pennsylvania and is fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine of the Foot and Ankle. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, going on waterfall hikes, trying new places to eat, and spending time with his family and friends.
