About Emily Kolodziej

With more than twenty-four years of experience in the healthcare field, Emily has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. Beginning as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emily advanced to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), then a Registered Nurse (RN), and ultimately achieved her long-standing goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). This progression reflects her commitment to lifelong learning, professional growth, and excellence in patient care. Although passionate about caring for individuals of all ages, the majority of Emily’s clinical experience has been devoted to serving older adults and geriatric patients, where she has built meaningful relationships while promoting health, dignity, and quality of life. Outside of the clinical setting, Emily values spending quality time with her family and friends and enjoys making the most of life’s simple pleasures. Whether taking walks with her two dogs, spending time swimming, or relaxing with a good movie, these activities provide balance and renewal. Guided by compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference, Emily is committed to delivering personalized, evidence-based care while building trusting relationships with patients and their families.

Emily specializes in comprehensive family medicine with a particular expertise in geriatric care, chronic disease management, and palliative care. Her diverse clinical background spans emergency medicine, acute rehabilitation, long-term care, and primary care.

I enjoy spending time with my children, my parents, and friends by enjoying new restaurants, watching movies, taking walks, and I recently tried out pickleball which I also thoroughly enjoyed. I am passionate, determined, and empathetic towards doing good things in this life and being a kind person.
