Emily Barnes, DPM

Dr. Emily Barnes earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery and completed her podiatric medical and surgical training at Geisinger Community Medical Center. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and is board-qualified in foot surgery and board-eligible in rearfoot and ankle surgery. Originally from Iowa, Dr. Barnes relocated to Northwest Arkansas for its warmer climate.

Dr. Barnes enjoys treating a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, from bunion correction to Achilles tendon repair. She prioritizes conservative treatment whenever possible and tailors surgical care to each patient’s individual goals. She also has extensive experience in wound care and infection management. Outside of work, Dr. Barnes enjoys spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, wine tasting, and relaxing with her dog, Leo, and rabbit, Sheldon Cooper.
