Christina Hobbs, AGPCNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Christina originally graduated from Marian University with their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Christina worked at University Hospital on night shift for 3.5 years. She then came to the VA in 2011 and worked in an Oncology/ Chemotherapy/ and Palliative Care unit. Christina went back to school for their AGPCNP degree in 2014 and then graduated in 2017 with their Masters degree and passed the Board Certification exam. Christina worked on the GRACE team at the VA until recently.

Christina is a social worker with a passion for Gerontology, Primary Care, Oncology, and Hospice care. She is a co-author of a published manuscript on the role of social workers with medically fragile veterans, and played a key role in expanding the GRACE program by successfully enrolling approximately 40 new patients in a single year — a record-breaking achievement for the team. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family, including her identical twin boys, and can usually be found reading a good book or soaking up the sunshine.
