About Dr. Avnee Patel
Avnee Patel, DPM earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 2023. Dr. Patel went on to complete a comprehensive residency at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, a Level 1 Trauma Center, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year and received extensive training in trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and reconstructive surgery.
A key facet of Dr. Patel’s practice is involving the patient and family in directing care, as she believes healing cannot be achieved alone. She takes pride in ensuring all patients are comfortable with their plan of care and feel that their goals are achievable and their care well-managed. Her key clinical interests include bunion surgery, diabetic care, wound care and limb preservation, and sports medicine.
Originally from Orange County, Dr. Patel is excited to return home to serve the Southern California community. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, hiking, practicing yoga, playing the flute, and taking advantage of the beautiful California sunshine.
