About Dr. Thaina Colon
Dr. Thaina Colon earned her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida before receiving her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Catholic Health System, Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, New York, where she served as Academic Chief Resident. Through her training, she cared for a diverse patient population and gained experience in both the conservative and surgical management of a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Colon provides comprehensive foot and ankle care for patients of all ages. She takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and goals and develops personalized treatment plans that incorporate conservative and surgical options when appropriate. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their care. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Colon strives to make every patient feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Colon enjoys spending time with her family and friends, paddleboarding, cycling, and exploring new restaurants. She values an active lifestyle and enjoys helping her patients return to the activities they love.
