About Dr. Cassie Erickson

Dr. Cassie Erickson, DPM,  is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. Originally from Boston, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and spent five years at Massachusetts General Hospital before pursuing her medical training. She went on to earn her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, completed her surgical residency at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at the renowned University Foot & Ankle Institute in Southern California. Her fellowship provided in-depth training in complex reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, trauma, minimally invasive techniques, and limb preservation.

Dr. Erickson has a special interest in sports medicine, complex foot and ankle reconstruction, tendon injuries, arthritis, deformity correction, and trauma. She is passionate about helping patients of all activity levels recover from injury, optimize performance, and safely return to the activities they love. Although fellowship-trained in advanced reconstructive surgery, Dr. Erickson believes that surgery should be considered only after appropriate conservative treatment has been explored. She emphasizes individualized, evidence-based care, utilizing physical therapy, custom orthotics, bracing, regenerative treatment options when appropriate, activity modification, and other nonsurgical therapies to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes. When surgery is necessary, she combines advanced reconstructive techniques with a personalized approach to restore function, relieve pain, and improve quality of life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Erickson’s greatest joy is spending time with her husband and their three sons, who are the center of her life. She and her family enjoy traveling together, exploring new restaurants, and sharing a love of great food—especially Italian and Mexican cuisine. They are avid sports fans who look forward to March Madness each year and enjoy following professional basketball, football, and baseball. Whether cheering on their favorite teams or making memories together, Dr. Erickson values the balance that family, travel, and sports bring to her life. This commitment to family has shaped her compassionate approach to patient care, and she strives to treat every patient with the same kindness, respect, and dedication she would want for her own loved ones.
