About Angela Aguas
Angela is a board certified nurse practitioner affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She holds a lifetime membership at the Society of Leadership and Academic Achievement, since 2019. Angie earned her bachelor’s of science at Southern Adventist University and her Master’s of Nursing at Purdue University with specialty internships in endocrinology, gynecology and obstetrics, gastroenterology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and family medicine.
Her nursing background includes advanced critical and trauma care with certifications in practice, leadership, and teaching at the clinical and graduate didactic levels. Angie has had the privilege of practicing under the expert guidance and tutelage for the specialty of endocrinology under Dr.Sohail Ali, since 2024.
Outside of the workplace Angie enjoys time with her young children and 2 dogs. Angie enjoys a physically active outdoor lifestyle and quality family time. Hobbies include paddle boarding, biking, camping, and eating great food (not cooking it).
Angie volunteers regularly to bring quality medical care to the underserved population of Orlando, since 2013.
