Omari Owens, DPM

Dr. Omari Owens is a highly experienced and versatile surgeon. He has an extensive background in reconstructive surgery, with over 1000 procedures during his residency. He offers both conservative and surgical options as treatment for a variety of different ailments, allowing patients to choose the treatment that best suits their needs and preferences.

Dr. Omari Owens is well-regarded for his compassionate approach and straightforward demeanor. His extensive experience in reconstructive surgery has earned him a strong reputation amongst peers. With a deep passion for helping others, he chose the field of podiatry to assist patients in getting back on their feet, both literally and figuratively.

Dr. Owens attended Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine for his medical degree, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in podiatric medicine. Following his graduation, he completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at SSM DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, further enhancing his expertise and commitment to patient care. Dr. Owens has also developed a high level of expertise in reconstructive surgery.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Owens is a food connoisseur with aspirations of becoming a finalist in Chef Ramsey’s MasterChef. While he enjoys all types of cuisine, Creole food holds a special place in his heart. An adventure seeker at heart, Dr. Owens loves engaging in water sports, visiting theme parks, and fast cars.
