Zohaib Moon, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Zohaib U. Moon, DPM, AACFAS is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon with Upperline Health, serving patients at both the De Leon Ankle & Foot Center and the St. Pete Ankle & Foot Center in Florida. He completed his fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Orthopedic Center of Florida, gaining expertise in total ankle replacement, arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, limb salvage, sports medicine, and complex reconstruction.
Dr. Moon graduated valedictorian from Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine with a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning numerous academic and leadership honors while serving as student body president. During his surgical residency at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, he was named Chief Resident, performed more than 1,500 surgical procedures, and was inducted into the HCA Physician Scholar Hall of Fame—a distinction reserved for the nation’s most academically and clinically accomplished residents.
A nationally recognized research leader, Dr. Moon has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at major conferences including ACFAS and FPMA. He also serves on the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery’s Expert Peer Review Committee, reflecting his ongoing commitment to advancing surgical techniques and evidence-based patient care. His clinical focus includes sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, limb salvage, and complex forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Moon enjoys staying active through basketball and tennis—having been part of a state championship basketball team in high school and even winning Barry University’s 3-Point Shootout. He also loves traveling with his wife and spending time at home with their two kittens, Mila and Luca.
