About Dr. William Parker

Dr. William Parker completed his pre-medical studies at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY in 1988. He graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1992. Residency training in foot & ankle surgery was completed at St. Michael’s Medical Center / Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Parker was in private practice and directed the Pocono Foot & Ankle Center in northeastern Pennsylvania for 10 years prior to relocating with his family to Myrtle Beach in 2004.

Dr. Parker performs all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery with a special interest in the treatment of neurologic pain using minimally invasive cryosurgery. He is a wound care specialist and is on staff at the Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine at Conway Medical Center. Dr. Parker is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. He is also a founding member and Fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He has authored numerous papers in the medical and scientific literature and lectures to both professional and community groups.

When not treating patients, Dr. Parker enjoys spending time with his wife and his two sons. He enjoys fishing, golfing and playing guitar. He is an active leader and teacher in his church.
