About Dr. Toiquita Brown

Toiquita Brown, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation and commitment to patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in 2022 and brings more than 15 years of experience as a critical care Registered Nurse, a role she has held since 2006. Her background in high-acuity and complex care environments allows her to approach each patient with expertise, compassion, and attention to detail.

Toiquita is passionate about caring for the geriatric population and specializes in the treatment of complex, non-healing wounds. As a wound care–certified provider, she focuses on evidence-based wound management, prevention of complications, and improving overall quality of life. Her approach emphasizes individualized care plans, patient education, and close collaboration to support optimal healing outcomes.

Outside of her clinical practice, Toiquita enjoys traveling and spending meaningful time with her family and friends. She is married to her husband, Cedric, a dedicated firefighter, and is the proud mother of two adult children and a devoted pet parent to two fur babies. She brings the same empathy, dedication, and commitment to excellence to her personal life as she does to the care of her patients.
