About Cassandra Clendenen
Cassandra Clendenen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She was raised in Ringgold, Georgia, and Athens, Tennessee, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Georgia in Athens. She later obtained a second bachelor’s degree in nursing after relocating to Chattanooga.
While working as a Registered Nurse in the emergency department at Erlanger Baroness Hospital, Cassandra completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has spent the past three years practicing family medicine at Erlanger Primary Care in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she developed strong connections within the Cleveland and Athens communities.
Cassandra is passionate about family medicine and takes a holistic approach to care, focusing on truly getting to know her patients to provide exceptional, individualized treatment. In addition to her experience in emergency and primary care, she has received specialized training through the International Association of Forensic Nurses and previously served as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) through Chattanooga’s local crisis center.
Outside of the clinic, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family, embracing her role as the “fun aunt,” traveling to Knoxville to cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers, and spending time with her standard poodle, Ella Mae.
